Welcome to our Canadian Association for Refugee and Forced Migration Studies (CARFMS) Online Research and Teaching Tools website!
The purpose of our new website is to provide the public, at large, and CARFMS members, in particular, with easy and ready access with the information, methods and techniques that are required in order to excel in both their research and teaching in the interdisciplinary field of refugee and forced migration studies.

Each of the key terms, concepts, methods, and theoretical frameworks provide a wealth of information in one location for those who are conducting research or who are teaching in this interdisciplinary field.
Please keep in mind that our new website is a “work-in-progress” and that we are constantly updating, adding new materials, and modifying existing materials in an effort to try to ensure the accuracy and currency of the content that is available on our website. We know that it will be appreciated not only by researchers and teachers but also students who are studying to complete their education in refugee and forced migration studies and the requirements for their certificate, diploma and degree programmes.
